Come-and-Sing – Verdi Requiem – with orchestra and soloists

North London Chorus invites you to take part in an exciting “Come-and-Sing” event on Sunday 12 May, at which we will be working through Verdi’s Requiem with full orchestra and soloists.

Please note that this workshop is primarily intended for volunteer singers who are familiar with the piece, or are good sight-readers, as there will be no note-learning rehearsal on the day.

It is part of a series of “Playdays” run by the Orchestra of the City, one of London’s finest voluntary orchestras, and we are delighted to be collaborating with them and their conductor Chris Hopkins as we prepare for our performance of the Verdi later in the term.

Ticketholders who would like to brush up on the notes are warmly invited to attend open rehearsals with North London Chorus on Thursday evenings 2 & 9 May in East Finchley. Please email May12th@northlondonchorus.org for further information.

Please help spread the word among  your choral networks by sharing the link to this page.

This ticket link is for singers who would like to take part. However, there are vacancies in the orchestra for string players only. If you are a string player and are interested in joining the orchestra, please do not buy a ticket via the link below. Instead please contact the Orchestra of the City on orchestraofthecity2003@gmail.com.
